While most often carved from soft wood in ancient China and India, the western balancing toys were traditionally made from tin or metal.
Educational literature from as far back as the 18th century you will find illustrations of balancing toys
The physics around the movement of such toys intrigued people.
These balance toys are hand crafted by skilled tinsmiths, using recycled metal materials and hand painted. This is a wonderful collectors item.  A simple touch and these will rock back and forth.
