These were sent to media outlets for promotional purposes, to be used by writers doing reviews or features about the films, and were not sold at retail stores.
This is a great auction for any James Bond 007 fan. You will get a beautiful full-color softcover book, along with a Digital Photography CD-ROM, that were given to media writers who covered the press junket for the 2006 Bond movie “Casino Royale” starring Daniel Craig and Eva Green. These items were not sold at stores. Details:
The squarebound 11.25-inch by 8.5-inch softcover book has a velvety texture on the burgundy covers. The movie’s title is printed in raised gray lettering. There are 68 interior full-color pages, with images from the movie and of the movie’s cast members, plus “making of” info about the film and the filmmakers. Lots of gorgeous full-pagers and two-page-spreads! In like new condition, the only small flaw is a very tiny “bump” to the top right corner of several interior pages (see close-up photo). Definitely not a disaster, and the kind of thing most sellers probably wouldn’t bother mentioning, but I’m picky.
The CD-ROM (not a DVD!) has 47 photos, captions, and 12 files of notes about the movie. It comes in a paper sleeve with a round cellophane see-through “window” (not in photos above).
