Original Off-Broadway production of the MARY RODGERS and MARSHALL BARER musical comedy hit “ONCE UPON A MATTRESS” at the Phoenix Theatre in New York City. (The production opened May 11th, 1959 at the Phoenix Theatre, transferred to New York’s Alvin Theatre on November 25th, 1959, moved to the Winter Garden on February 24th, 1960, the Cort Theatre on April 25th, 1960 and closed at the St. James Theatre on July 2nd, 1960 after a combined 460 performances.) ….. CONDITION: With the exception of a corner crease to the top left corner and light edge wear, this photo is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
